Perhaps the Utility group should be renamed the Retired group. For many of it's members have been made redundant by advances in human civilisation.

For example, the Bulldog is no longer used as a decoy for bull-baiting. And the Dalmatians have long given up accompanying horse drawn carriages!

But this diverse collection of breeds is fast becoming one of the most popular groups to have as house pets.
