What’s the right breed of dog for me?

Every dog deserves
a loving home

We’re on a mission to put an end to dog
homelessness by 2030.

Every dog deserves a loving home. That’s why our goal is for all dogs around the world to have loving homes by 2030. To help support this mission, we’ll be donating 1 million meals* to rescue centres across the UK over the next 12 months to help ensure shelter dogs are getting the nutritious food they need. We’ve also partnered with ADCH** and its members, to deliver a support programme to shelters across the UK to help tackle the barriers to pet adoption and help equip shelters and owners with the resources they require to ensure all pets are wanted and cared for.

*In partnership with Whiskas®. Product donations are not linked to sales of packs. Meals provided August 2022 - August 2023. One meal = 239 calories of Pedigree Dog Complete Dry with chicken and Vegetable, based on the average size dog of 14.8kg. Alternative PEDIGREE® products are available to shelters to order with equivalent calories per meal.

Could you adopt a dog like Pippi?

Did you know that over half of the world’s 900 million dogs are homeless? Many of them are looked after in shelters, and last year Pedigree® donated over a million meals to help make sure those dogs get the top-quality nutrition they deserve. Of course, however wonderful a shelter is, there’s nothing better for a dog than a loving forever home. That’s why we’d implore anyone who is thinking of getting a dog to consider adoption. Your perfect match could be waiting for you right now.
